The Dream Team

The school was started in consultation with renowned educationalist & academicians Mr. Shomie Das, Ex Principal, Mayo College Ajmer & Doon School Dehradun & Ms. Shirin Choksey , Ex Principal, Godrej School Mumbai. The school is now in its 12th year since its inception. It has started attracting the attention of conversant parents who realize the enduring value of an alternative, eclectic system of education which does not depend on the chalk & talk method and where frazzled children are crumbling under the stress of learning for just today.

Late Mrs. Swaran Khaitan (Founder)

A woman with keen business acumen, Late Mrs. Swaran Khaitan had been always interested in espousing the foundations of an alternative system of education for the past 30 years. Her dreams were being realized in the establishment of the Sunshine Worldwide School and with her able guidance the school has continued to go from strength to strength.

Mr. Deepak Khaitan (Managing Trustee)

An ex-student of the prestigious Mayo College, Ajmer, Deepak Khaitan is the mainstay of Sunshine Worldwide School. A businessman with diverse interests, his overriding fervor to provide an exceptional education system in Goa has made him throw his heart and soul into every little detail about the school.-building construction, furniture, teaching methodology and recruitment, teaching aids and curriculum… His mission is to provide a holistic education, where the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains are all tapped through a comprehensive and varied curriculum.

To quote him, "Today's children need real life education skills to help them live a life of significance with a positive attitude of mind. The McCaulay system of education which produced only clerks should have left long ago, along with the British".

Ms. Sapna Khaitan (Trustee)

A compassionate, warm and creative person, Sapna Khaitan is one of the bastions of Sunshine Worldwide School. She is extremely popular with the students and always has a sympathetic listening ear for the problems of students, parents and staff. She strongly believes in updating the school with whatever new methodologies and techniques she learns about.
